About the position

The Wastewater Process Engineer at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment solutions. This remote position requires collaboration with Sales and Commercial Engineering teams to assess project opportunities, develop process design calculations, and provide technical guidance. The role involves conducting site audits, troubleshooting existing systems, and mentoring team members, all while ensuring operational safety and compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Sales and Commercial Engineering (CE) Teams to support opportunities including screening new opportunities during WIN reviews for regional and global projects
  • Provide technical and process support to meet Sales and Commercial Engineering team's respective needs
  • Create, develop, and/or assess process design calculations and process flow diagrams (PFDs) for new and unique applications
  • Participate in P-table (Process) reviews prior to proposal submission to ensure proposed solutions meet treatment system goals
  • Participate in Peer Reviews of other SME team member's projects to support P-table reviews
  • Coach and mentor other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Support lifecycle cost analysis while comparing different flowsheets
  • Work with Sales and CE teams to apply process design strategies to increase project success probability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Regional Sales Managers and Local Representatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in water & wastewater process engineering or equipment supply field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in detailed process design and ability to read and understand proposal documents and specifications
