About the position
The Remote Service Engineer (RSE) position is a hybrid role based in Gainesville, FL, responsible for providing technical customer support for DMS and Coil Products. The role involves troubleshooting, remote diagnostics, software installation, and coordination with customers to ensure satisfaction with the products. The position requires a minimum of three days per week in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for up to two days.
Responsibilities
- Provide telephone support for questions/problems related to DMS Products and coil products.
- Perform troubleshooting and remote diagnostics of customer systems.
- Coordinate logistics regarding hardware exchanges for DMS products and coil products, including configuration and installed base management.
- Confirm customer satisfaction after support activities.
- Provide support to customers in a virtual/remote manner using various software tools.
Requirements
- A.S. Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years' experience servicing electronic equipment in a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrated high trainability over an accelerated timeline.
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems and PC-based applications.
