About the position
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Virtual Social Worker to provide support to high school students across Michigan. This full-time remote position focuses on enhancing students' social and emotional well-being while ensuring their educational success through virtual services.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual social work services to high school students, focusing on their social and emotional well-being and supporting their educational success.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, challenges, and needs.
- Collaborate closely with school counselors, educators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
- Advocate for students' rights and access to resources, ensuring they receive necessary services and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all interactions and services provided, adhering to school and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid 310 certification in Social Work.
- Previous experience working in a high school setting or with adolescent populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual interdisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in utilizing virtual platforms for service delivery.
