About the position

The Solutions Architect position at a high-growth SaaS company involves designing and implementing innovative solutions tailored to client needs. This role requires providing technical leadership and support to development teams while ensuring the scalability and performance of applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and lead architecture discussions, particularly in integrating machine learning into applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable web, mobile application and data solutions
• Develop and scale API integrations using REST/SOAP
• Drive end to end best practices such as microservices and event driven architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance on machine learning integration within applications
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications, optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability
• Work closely with development teams to ensure best practices in coding and architecture are followed
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture
• At least 3 of: web applications (heavy JavaScript frameworks), mobile applications and Machine Learning programming
• Experience with public cloud platforms
• Experience working for SaaS startups
• Familiarity with most of our current stack: React, Next, Cockroach db, AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Machine Learning, and visualization tools.
