About the position

The Sr Actuarial Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Medicare Part D bid development. This role involves analyzing and interpreting regulatory guidance, collaborating with product and marketing teams to align pricing decisions with market trends and organizational goals, and conducting sensitivity analysis and scenario testing. The analyst will also analyze claims and enrollment data, assist in quarterly pricing and rate review projects, and contribute to filing deadlines and quarterly forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret regulatory guidance for Medicare Part D bid development.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to incorporate market trends into pricing decisions.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario testing.
• Analyze and interpret claims and enrollment data.
• Assist with the development of quarterly pricing and rate review projects.
• Contribute to filing deadlines and quarterly forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or Social Science.
• ASA designation.
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare actuarial analysis, specifically in Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development.
• Experience with Medicare Part D bid development.
• Experience writing SQL queries.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or Social Science.
• FSA designation.
