About the position
The Sr Fullstack Developer role focuses on maintaining and developing a complex, monolithic serverside application for a Veterinary and Animal Health Care Services company. This application, which has been in use for over 20 years, serves as a command center for Vet Clinics and is utilized by over 60,000 global users. The position requires a developer who enjoys problem-solving in a challenging environment and has experience with legacy applications, particularly in the Medical Device or Banking industries.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop a monolithic, serverside application.
- Work on integration with a new iterative analyzer device.
- Collaborate with a team of developers, testers, and DevOps resources using KANBAN methodology.
- Contribute to both backend (75%) and frontend (25%) development using Java and React.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of recent experience developing Java functionality in a serverside, monolithic application.
- 3+ years of React experience using Typescript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex applications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Node.JS is a plus.
