About the position

Our client in the greater Austin area is looking for an SSO Engineer for a contract that runs all the way through the end of 2024 and will likely extend to 2025. This is a highly skilled team that is transforming their environment. They are looking for a passionate and skilled individual who will make an impact on day one. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identity management and enterprise authentication and authorization systems, with a focus on Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies. The role requires deep technical troubleshooting expertise to identify and remediate issues with SSO-enabled applications, ensuring that mission-critical applications are protected and accessible. The candidate must be comfortable working in high-pressure environments and be open to peer feedback, demonstrating confidence in decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to integrate SSO in multiple applications, contributing to the overall security and efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Single Sign-On in multiple applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing identity management and enterprise authentication and authorization systems.
• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and OIDC is required.
• Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for enabling and protecting mission-critical applications.
• Deep technical troubleshooting expertise to identify and remediate issues with SSO-enabled applications.
• Preferred experience managing identity lifecycle including onboarding/offboarding of users, groups, accounts, and their access rights.
