As a Civil/Structural Engineer P.E., you'll have the flexibility to work remotely while being responsible for serving as a technical expert and subject matter authority for civil and structural engineering on capital projects. Your role will involve ensuring that designs, standards, and procedures comply with regulatory requirements and align with global and regional engineering guidelines. You will propose and implement solutions to enhance project performance, cost-effectiveness, and safety. In this position, you will ensure consistent compliance of civil, structural, and architectural engineering standards, policies, and procedures with regulatory standards and alignment with Cargill's global and regional standards. You will be tasked with providing civil, structural, and architectural engineering support required for build projects, contributing to safety and engineering recommendations to enhance performance, cost, efficiency, and schedule. You will support multiple capital projects simultaneously and perform other duties as assigned. To be successful in this remote role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, preferably in Food, Oil & Gas, or Petrochemical or Power Generation. Familiarity with industry codes and standards is essential, and a Professional Engineering License is required. Frequent interaction with internal and external personnel will often require coordination between departments, making strong communication skills vital.
