The firm serves a diverse clientele across various industries, providing a dynamic work environment for the Tax Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of tax returns for various entities including 1040, 1120s, and 1065.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff and team members.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies for clients.
• Assist in the training and development of staff in tax-related matters.

Requirements

• Active CPA certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Tax Manager.
• Strong experience with high volume return review and preparation (70% review, 30% preparation).
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Accountancy.
• Experience in real estate tax matters.
• Prior experience working in a remote setting.
