About the position

The Tax Manager position at a leading CPA firm involves overseeing tax-related services for a diverse client base. This fully remote role requires strong leadership and technical skills in tax preparation and review, with a focus on high-volume returns. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns including 1040, 1120s, and 1065 forms.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related matters.
  • Conduct high-volume return reviews and ensure accuracy in tax filings.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client tax positions.

Requirements

  • Active CPA certification.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Public Accounting experience.
  • At least 1+ years of experience as a Tax Manager.
  • Strong experience with high volume return review and preparation.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Experience in Real Estate tax matters.
  • Prior experience working in a remote setting.
