About the position

The Tax Manager position is a key role within a leading CPA firm that has been recognized for its outstanding workplace culture and professional development opportunities. This fully remote or hybrid role involves overseeing tax preparation and review processes, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations for a diverse client base. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and review of high volume tax returns including 1040, 1120s, and 1065.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, providing exceptional service and advice.
  • Participate in professional development and training initiatives for team members.

Requirements

  • Active CPA certification.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Public Accounting experience.
  • At least 1+ years of experience as a Tax Manager.
  • Strong experience with high volume return review and preparation (70% review, 30% preparation).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Accountancy.
  • Experience in Real Estate tax matters.
  • Prior experience working in a remote setting.
