About the position

The Tax Supervisor or Manager will join a leading Southeast Regional CPA Firm, recognized for its exceptional workplace culture and work-life balance. This role involves overseeing tax engagements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic tax solutions to clients across various industries. The position offers remote work opportunities and emphasizes professional development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of partnership, C-Corp, S-Corp, NFP, individual, and corporate tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990)
• Assist with tax research, planning, and strategies to provide clients with tax savings solutions
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients to provide exceptional service
• Execute technical review of tax returns prepared by staff members
• Manage workflow and supervise staff members
• Represent clients before taxing authorities
• Prepare and review tax provision calculations
• Ensure compliance with changes in tax regulations
• Assist with managing client relationships and business development activities

Requirements

• CPA designation OR EA
• 5+ years of tax experience
• Knowledge of partnership, C-Corp, S-Corp, NFP, individual, and corporate taxes
• Understanding of GAAP accounting
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
