About the position

The position serves as a member of the Revenue Cycle Enterprise and Performance Management Services team, focusing on training and deployment support across various Revenue Cycle functions, including Patient Access Services (PAS) and Patient Financial Services (PFS). The role involves providing comprehensive training on systems and applications, ensuring consistent and effective training delivery across multiple environments and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and educational opportunities across numerous revenue cycle systems and applications according to the Trinity Health Revenue Cycle training curriculum.
  • Identify training needs and define appropriate training solutions.
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in Revenue Cycle functional training and deployment activities for PAS and PFS functions.
  • Provide deployed training support directly to local RHMs for PAS and PFS functions across various environments.
  • Prepare training materials, documentation, guides, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
  • Contribute to improved job performance through continuous improvement of training methods and approaches.
  • Utilize appropriate technology and methodology in delivering training and deployment solutions.
  • Serve as a resource providing consultative guidance on training methodologies and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Develop and maintain all RC training, educational, and deployment materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Education, Learning and Development, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Revenue Cycle functional training and deployment activities for PAS and PFS functions.
  • Experience with Health Information Systems and Revenue Cycle applications such as Epic, Health Quest, Meditech, and others.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in delivering workforce educational training programs and developing course curriculum.
  • Ability to facilitate instructor-led training courses and convey complicated information concisely.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in adult education preferred.
  • Experience with specialized methodology in the development of training support tools.
