About the position

A client in Irvine, CA is seeking a multi-faceted UI/UX Designer to work 100% remote. This position is ideal for designers who have experience in the digital product space, particularly from tech companies or the tech industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research, creating wireframes, and developing designs. It is important to note that the company will have a formal design system in place within a few months, which will aid in the design process. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Program Managers, Developers, and Solution Architects, to ensure that the design aligns with the overall product vision and user needs. This position is a contract role that will extend through the end of 2024. Candidates should possess strong UI/Design-focused portfolios that showcase their skills and experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand user needs and preferences.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Develop high-fidelity designs that align with user experience best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Program Managers, Developers, and Solution Architects.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Ensure designs are consistent with the company's design system and brand guidelines.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in a UI/UX Designer role, with a focus on UI/Visual design and some UX background.
• 1+ years of experience with Figma and Jira.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working in a digital product space.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners, including product managers and developers.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop and PowerPoint.
• Experience in the QSR/Tech industry is preferred.
