About the position

The Remote UX/UI Designer will be responsible for maintaining the design, graphics, and user experience for the company's customer and admin portal. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, producing wireframes and prototypes, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. The position is a maternity leave backfill for a duration of 6 months, offering a pay range of $28-32/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the design, graphics, and user experience for the customer and admin portal.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
• Produce wireframes and prototypes for various projects.
• Maintain and update the asset library to ensure consistency.
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines in all design work.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of web design experience, preferably in a tech or highly-regulated environment.
• Experience creating wireframes, visual comps, and mocks, and maintaining an asset library.
• Ability to design, create, improve, and refine complex experiences for end users.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to understand user needs and articulate design approach.
• Strong hands-on experience with Figma.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development principles.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices.
