About the position

The Web Designer position at Coalition Technologies involves creating unique and client-specific designs, including logos, brand guides, and website mockups. The role emphasizes collaboration with various teams to achieve client goals through effective design while adhering to quality standards and project schedules. Responsibilities

• Designing unique and client-specific logos, brand guides, and design systems from scratch.
• Designing wireframes, website mockups, and other related graphics for both desktop and mobile devices based on creative briefs and other materials.
• Drawing vector icons and other illustrations.
• Attending and participating in client meetings and working with Digital Producers to plan how to achieve client goals through creative design.
• Collaborating with copywriters, SEO team, developers, and other teams to establish the vision of the project and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Preparing design files for proper hand-off to developers.
• Ensuring that projects are completed according to schedule while effectively applying methodology and following quality standards.

Requirements

• Mastery of video editing software.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how that applies to web development.
• Passion for design with an understanding of core concepts and fundamentals.
• Desire to continue learning and keep up with the design industry.
• An impressive portfolio showcasing experience in designing websites and web app dashboards.
• Experience with project tools such as Basecamp, QuickBooks, and Google Docs.
• Experience presenting materials to clients professionally.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet short deadlines.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday to Friday.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone and speakers, and reliable internet and power.
