Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ongoing credit administration, monitoring, review, and analysis for a designated portfolio of tax equity and debt project financings.
  • Prepare and write periodic status reviews and update risk rating scorecards.
  • Monitor the credit profile of key transaction counterparties such as borrowers, off-takers, project sponsors, and servicers.
  • Ensure compliance with the terms of and reporting requirements of transaction agreements.
  • Evaluate and process project-related consent requests from clients.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries on the portfolio from senior credit and risk management team members.
  • Evaluate new end-user credit opportunities including identification and assessment of risks and identifying mitigating factors.
  • Partner with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provide product expertise necessary to deliver effective client solutions.
  • Underwrite new transactions, analyze credit risk, negotiate and close deals while adhering to internal policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Structure the terms of a lease/loan with respect to pricing, rates, payment, term, and collateral.
  • Manage the credit process for a portfolio of clients including reviewing financial statements, assessing compliance with financial covenants, confirming the accuracy of risk ratings, and recommending changes as warranted.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in banking or finance industry in corporate credit, tax equity, project finance, and/or renewable energy.
  • Ability to review, understand and interpret legal documentation of complex transactions and their impact on credit exposure.
  • Ability to work efficiently and productively on multiple transactions or tasks at one time.
  • Results-oriented, and able to keep track of and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact effectively and build relationships with internal and external clients and partners.
  • Ability to independently lead diligence efforts, make approval recommendations, and execute timely funding.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related major.
