About the position

The Renewable Energy Systems Developer, also known as The Sustainable Systems Architect, is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing renewable energy systems that contribute to a sustainable energy future. This role involves collaboration with engineers, data scientists, and environmental experts to create efficient energy solutions that reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy accessibility across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom renewable energy systems, such as solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, wind energy setups, and hybrid storage systems.
• Collaborate on projects that integrate renewable energy systems with smart grid technology for real-time energy monitoring and load balancing.
• Analyze project sites and energy requirements to assess the feasibility of renewable energy projects and optimize designs.
• Create or customize software and digital tools for real-time monitoring and performance tracking of renewable systems.
• Use data analysis and predictive modeling to maximize system performance and improve energy yields.
• Ensure compliance with relevant energy regulations and industry standards for renewable energy projects.
• Stay updated on advancements in renewable technologies and explore new innovations for system designs.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing renewable energy systems, including solar PV, wind, hybrid systems, and energy storage.
• Proficiency in software development for energy management systems, with skills in languages like Python, C++, or MATLAB.
• Strong analytical skills in conducting feasibility studies, including load assessments and energy simulation.
• Understanding of smart grid technology, IoT applications, and distributed energy resources.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in renewable energy systems, smart grid technology, or energy management are a plus.
