About the position

The Renewal Account Executive is responsible for retaining existing aircraft insurance customers within a fast-paced insurance agency. This role involves collaborating with underwriters, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining records according to agency standards. The position requires strong communication skills and a focus on meeting sales and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for retention of existing aircraft insurance customers in a fast-paced, high volume insurance agency.
• Maintain retention of existing customers in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with underwriters at multiple insurance companies by phone and email to obtain insurance quotes and issue renewal policies.
• Respond to internet requests for quotes, and follow up on quoted but not renewed customers.
• Explain insurance coverages and offer insurance advice to prospective and existing customers.
• Maintain records according to Agency standards, ensuring that procedures are properly followed and that information is properly documented.
• Develop strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel.
• Responsible for meeting individual and team monthly sales and quality goals.
• Review quotes for gaps and assist with inquiries from the carrier.
• Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty license preferred, applicants who do not have a current P&C license will be considered but will be required to obtain their license.
• 1-4 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
• Strong problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in use of Agency Management software and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
