About the position
The Rental Account Manager at Hilti serves as the primary contact for customers, focusing on enhancing productivity, safety, and sustainability in the construction industry. This role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts, building relationships, and providing high-level consultations while demonstrating Hilti's tools. The position allows for flexibility in scheduling to optimize client interactions and sales productivity.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and build long-term relationships.
- Create a daily schedule to optimize client potential and sales productivity by territory.
- Demonstrate Hilti tools to customers and provide high-level consultations.
- Utilize Salesforce to track interactions and sales progress.
- Represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably with set targets.
- Excellent time and territory management skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company car.
- Ability to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds.
