About the position
The Rental Administrator is responsible for managing the branch rental fleet, overseeing equipment allocations, and training branch rental support staff. This role involves conducting inventory management, monitoring rental and customer property items, and ensuring the accuracy of contracts and invoices related to rental repairs. The position requires a strong focus on safety guidelines and effective communication between rental and sales functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage branch rental fleet through equipment allocations.
- Train branch rental support staff.
- Conduct inventory management and forecasting equipment requirements.
- Manage GPS tracking and asset tagging.
- Oversee repair processes and ensure timely completion.
- Participate in branch inventory counts (annual and cycle).
- Act as a liaison between rental and inside sales functions.
- Finalize invoices on rental repairs.
- Monitor contracts for accuracy of pricing and equipment.
- Generate sales orders with proper pricing.
- Monitor reports for utilization and payback.
- Follow all safety guidelines, processes, and policies.
- Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Wellhead and Gate Valve knowledge.
- Assembly skills.
- Highly advanced and specialized computer skills.
- Advanced language skills.
- Advanced mathematical skills.
- Highly advanced reasoning ability.
