About the position
The Rental Assistant Yard Coordinator will support the Rental Coordinator in managing rental transactions and maintaining yard organization for heavy construction equipment. This role involves customer interaction, inventory control, and ensuring the efficient operation of the rental yard.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Rental Coordinator in processing rental transactions and invoicing.
- Maintain and scan inventory of all units and attachments.
- Organize the yard and ensure equipment is in its designated area.
- Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and associated equipment is preferred.
- Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2-3 years of rental or similar experience preferred.
