About the position

As a Chat Repair Representative at Spectrum, you will leverage your communication and computer skills to assist customers with their inquiries related to video, Internet, and phone services. This role involves using a web-based chat platform to interact with customers, resolve technical issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be part of a dynamic team that operates 24/7, providing you with the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while making a positive impact on customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers through a web-based chat platform.
  • Handle questions and concerns related to video, Internet, and phone products and services.
  • Address advanced technical inquiries using diagnostic tools.
  • Coordinate customer service escalations with local management for field technician visits.
  • Resolve customer service inquiries, process orders, and document account actions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • 1+ year customer service experience; 6+ months working with computers and multiple software applications; experience in cable or telecommunications call centers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and personal computer skills.
  • Strong communication, dependability, multi-tasking, typing, and customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, tech-savvy, and resilient.
