About the position

As a Customer Operations Representative at GEODIS Logistics LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing shipping operations and collaborating with internal teams. This position is ideal for individuals looking to leverage their communication and organizational skills in a dynamic environment focused on customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned accounts and identify opportunities for service improvement and business growth.
  • Analyze customer inquiries, make informed decisions, and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments based on customer needs and priorities.
  • Work with the Carrier Team to ensure all client shipments are booked and tracked for on-time pickup or delivery.
  • Support pricing and quoting activities with guidance from the Account Executive.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
  • Previous freight brokerage experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment and work ethic in a school or work setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to develop relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong commitment to executional and outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to persuade, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while delivering independent results.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
