Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, resolve, and respond to service inquiries from members, providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide customers with information and education regarding benefits, eligibility, verification, authorization, billing, and claims status.
  • Identify and resolve or escalate customer concerns to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Make outbound welcome calls to educate members on their benefits as needed.
  • Assist walk-in members and agents as assigned by leadership.
  • Adhere to established procedures and quality guidelines to support service promises and performance indicators.
  • Identify trends or issues impacting health plan members and suggest process improvements.
  • Assist customers with administrative issues, such as enrollment record changes and coverage explanations.
  • Facilitate claims resolution through follow-up on member calls and correspondence.
  • Track and document all service interactions with customers according to guidelines.
  • Maintain productivity, availability to customers, and adherence to work schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a related field.
