About the position

The Repair and Maintenance Worker is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of outdoor areas and occupied units, ensuring compliance with codes and resident satisfaction. This role involves a variety of tasks including lawn care, building maintenance, and snow removal, requiring a hands-on approach to repair and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Takes care of lawn, including mowing, trimming, seeding, sodding, repairing and winterizing.
• Maintains outside of buildings including repairs, painting, rescreening windows, etc.
• Keeps occupied units in good condition in compliance with all codes to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Performs snow and ice removal including snow blowing, shoveling, and putting down salt, using a pick to remove ice build-up.

Requirements

• Experience in lawn care and maintenance.
• Knowledge of building repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate snow removal equipment.
