About the position

The Replenisher role at Simon & Schuster involves managing inventory within the distribution center, specifically replenishing the Split Case department to facilitate order selection by Voice Pickers. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient operations in a leading global publishing company, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF device to receive and select individual items for split-case customer orders according to supervisor instructions.
• Operate a pallet jack to safely move and handle pallets within the warehouse.
• Ensure precise completion of assigned tasks and meet specified deadlines for order picking and other responsibilities.
• Perform routine inventory tasks such as stock movement, cycle counts, unpacking new stock, and repackaging excess inventory weekly.
• Independently manage assigned tasks and obligations.
• Be ready to take on additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Some analytical experience is preferable.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day.
• Experience operating a pallet jack.
