About the position

The Content Marketing Leader/Managing Editor at Constellations will oversee content strategy and development for the online magazine and newsletter, focusing on the satellite and space industry. This role involves creating compelling stories, managing freelance contributors, and enhancing the publication's presence through innovative content formats and social media engagement.

Responsibilities

• Developing story ideas and editorial calendars for Constellations and related programs
• Writing articles for publication
• Developing and directing freelance contributors
• Conceiving inventive content communication ideas such as infographics and videos
• Contributing to social media programs

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of five years of experience in journalism or other communications fields
• Familiarity and experience with technology, especially in the space, telecommunication, or IT industries
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to write well and on deadline
• Strong research, interviewing, and editing skills
• Thorough attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Experience writing and promoting web content
• Knowledge of SEO
• Public relations experience
