About the position

Yamaha is seeking a Reporting & BI Analyst to join their Data Management/Analytics team in Cypress, CA. This role is crucial for managing and extracting insights from the company's data infrastructure, involving the development of ETL processes, administration of automated systems, and complex SQL query writing to fulfill data requests. The analyst will present findings using modern BI tools to ensure clarity and ease of interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into AWS and Snowflake.
• Translate business needs into innovative solutions in reporting and analytics.
• Extract and inspect data for accuracy, compiling it into useful formats for analysis.
• Prepare visual diagrams of analytics models and report specifications.
• Administer and monitor automated data loading/ETL scripts, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Keep management and end-users informed of any system issues or anomalies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in data visualization and reporting.
• Strong experience in data capture and queries using BI tools and databases (e.g., SAP Analytics on Cloud, Tableau, Snowflake, Oracle).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data preparation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
