Reporting & Data Analyst Intern

About the position

Join Averitt as a Reporting & Data Analyst Intern and make a real impact on our data-driven decision-making process. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced analysts and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, develop actionable insights, and use tools like Microsoft Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables, and SQL. You'll also work with a third-party to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Averitt's data warehouse. Throughout your internship, you'll be encouraged to identify opportunities for process improvements and help enhance our data analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and document project requirements and deliverables with data analysts and stakeholders.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and provide status updates.
• Build and maintain Microsoft Power BI reports, using DAX to create KPIs.
• Engage in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum ceremonies.
• Contribute to peer reviews by providing feedback on team members' work.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a current college senior.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
