About the position

The Reporting Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst plays a crucial role in validating the accuracy of new and existing syndicated reporting products for both internal and external stakeholders within IQVIA's Patient Support Services (PSS) group. This position is part of the Visual Analytics team, which focuses on ensuring that reporting logic accurately reflects data in front-end reports while maintaining a consistent user experience. The role is essential for supporting the organization's data-driven strategy by creating, maintaining, and optimizing BI solutions, dashboards, and reports, ultimately aiding businesses in making informed decisions and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assess data gathered from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform data analysis to ensure front-end content aligns with back-end data.
  • Support collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand the intended design of BI projects and reporting tools.
  • Review BI reports in PowerBI for accuracy and consistency across visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
  • Have final sign-off on newly developed standardized and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders and business units.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports and proactively identify opportunities for report optimization.
  • Understand intended data models and data warehouses that support BI initiatives.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and leverage documented requirements.
  • Monitor the performance of BI solutions and dashboards, ensuring they meet organizational requirements.
  • Support data quality checks and ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years of related experience required
  • Power BI (required)
  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access) and SQL
  • Data analysis skills
  • Effective time management and project management skills
