About the position

The Repossession Specialist position at TEKsystems involves coordinating the repossession and timely disposal of property that serves as collateral on company loans and leases. The role focuses on controlling delinquency on outstanding leases, collecting balances on lease receivables, and ensuring compliance with documentation processes related to repossessions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the repossession and timely disposal of collateral property.
• Control delinquency on outstanding leases that are two or more months past due.
• Collect outstanding balances on lease receivable items.
• Work through every stage of delinquency up to charge off.
• Coordinate the sale of repossessed property.
• Ensure compliance and proper documentation for all processes and expenses related to repossessions.

Requirements

• Understanding of Microsoft programs and solid computer skills.
• Data entry and organization skills with a basic understanding of record keeping.
• Ability to work on telephones.
