About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Liberty is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to clients and customers through various communication channels, including in-person, telephone, and email. This role serves as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and support, embodying the company's customer service philosophy with integrity and professionalism. The CSR is tasked with ensuring that all clients are greeted courteously and assisted according to company policies, while also managing emergency situations and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients and customers via walk-in, telephone, or email.
  • Ensure all clients are greeted in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with field and office personnel regarding routine and emergency situations.
  • Process customer contacts promptly and respond respectfully and professionally to customer needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve delinquent accounts, assisting customers in making payment arrangements.
  • Respond to customer emergencies with urgency and serve as a communication link between field operations and customers.
  • Field after-hours call outs and handle emergency situations to expedite service restoration.
  • Perform other customer-focused duties as needed.
  • Answer phone calls, listen actively, and relay information while typing basic information simultaneously.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
  • Experience in customer service is required.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong customer relation skills are necessary.
  • Organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Aptitude for math is necessary.
  • Proficient computer skills for data entry, reporting, and information retrieval are required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cashiering experience is preferred.
