About the position

The Customer Service Representative at CommScope is responsible for fostering and maintaining customer relationships while managing customer orders from the point of sale to shipment and invoicing. This role requires a strong understanding of Cable Exchange products and CRM processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient order management.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage and cultivate customer relationships for current and potential customers.
  • Manage customer service relating to orders from the point of sale to shipment and invoicing.
  • Input orders, schedule them, expedite, track, and coordinate alternative materials as needed.
  • Follow procedures to ensure efficiency in Customer Service operations and develop new procedures as necessary.
  • Oversee programs to guarantee on-time delivery while maintaining knowledge of the company's systems and processes.
  • Facilitate order management from receipt through invoicing with an understanding of supply chain capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns using excellent company process knowledge and strong arbitration skills.
  • Develop knowledge of Cable Exchange and relevant CommScope products to service customers and business partners.
  • Report and lead daily sales/production reports and metrics.
  • Communicate with Sales and Planning to anticipate projects and potential scheduling issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • General work experience
  • 3 years of customer service or sales support experience
