About the position

AMECO is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative located in/around the assigned sales territory of Cincinnati, OH, extending north of Columbus and surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide personalized solutions to meet our customers' equipment, tooling, and consumable needs. The ideal candidate will be a team player who demonstrates exceptional sales and customer service skills, along with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships. The customer base will include construction businesses, contractors, scaffolding, industrial, electrical power welding, and rigging industries, among others. Key responsibilities will include increasing the company's market share by prospecting new business related to equipment rental and supply needs while servicing and growing existing accounts within the assigned territory. You will be responsible for fostering and forging new and existing relationships that impact the long-term success and sales of our products and services. This includes quoting, selling, up-selling, and cross-selling to drive increased share of customer spend and trust in AMECO. Additionally, you will manage an assigned account base, ensuring that customer service and satisfaction expectations are met while achieving sales and profitability objectives. Responsibilities will also include managing a CRM platform and building a pipeline of qualified business opportunities. To succeed in this position, you will need a minimum of three years' experience in an outside sales, account management, or business development capacity. Prior exposure to the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting, or construction services, along with knowledge of our product offerings (tools and equipment), would be beneficial. You must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities, and deliver quality support to customers in a fast-paced environment. A high level of communication and interpersonal skills is required, with the ability to respond to inquiries at all levels. You should be able to work well within a team environment and have some college or an associate degree in a related field, which is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, report generation, and formulating sales quotes/materials/presentations is essential. Experience with SAP, particularly SAP Business One, would be a definite plus. This position will involve some travel, including overnight stays, and candidates will work from and report to our Harrison, OH branch location. Requirements
