About the position

The Sales Representative for BioTissue Holdings Inc. in Tampa is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase market share within the assigned territory. This role involves promoting and selling products to commercial hospitals, physician offices, wound care centers, and Federal Government accounts, including VA and active duty Military hospitals. The representative will work towards achieving sales performance goals, maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with the marketing team to provide market intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves sales performance goals as specified in the sales/quota plan.
  • Define and identify key market opportunities, implement marketing strategies, and effectively implement sales direction to penetrate existing accounts and gain new customers.
  • Successfully complete sales training and stay updated on competitors and market dynamics.
  • Proficiently present to individuals and large groups of customers on all products and applicable company programs.
  • Develop territory business plan to ensure achievement of monthly revenue goals and overall sustainable long-term growth.
  • Conduct all job functions in a manner that promotes a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Promote positive team relationships and maintain open lines of communication with various departments to achieve corporate goals.
  • Attend industry conferences as needed.
  • Work within assigned expense budget and ensure all activities conform to corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide field intelligence on market trends and changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science, Medical, or related field.
  • 5 years of outside sales experience in the medical device, wound care, biotechnology, or tissue segment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding territory and company sales goals.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to analyze markets.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in high growth organizations building market share.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
