About The Position

The RFP Manager at Comcast plays a vital role in driving business growth by managing the proposal process for Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The RFP Manager is responsible for managing the pipeline and forecast for Product Sales Support & Analysis, overseeing communication flow between functional groups, and ensuring personnel receive the necessary information and documentation to perform their tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in proposal management or a related area.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of high-quality proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.
  • Oversee proposal timelines and coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain a repository of templates and standard language to streamline the proposal process.
  • Review win-loss data to identify areas for improvement in proposal strategies and content.
  • Create and maintain client master data including margin analysis and sales measurements.
  • Provide overall direction of the Product Sales Support & Analysis team to drive lead generation and sales reporting.
  • Interface with internal groups to ensure proper analysis of tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain sales forecasts and analysis for management reports.
  • Generate daily activity reports and trends.
