The roles available include positions for bridge carpenters, general laborers, pipe foremen, grade foremen, and diesel mechanics, each requiring specific skills and experience in construction and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for heavy equipment.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance history accurately and timely.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on power tools used on construction sites.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Manager regarding equipment damage and necessary repairs.
• Request parts as necessary to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Conduct functionality, use, and safety tests on heavy equipment.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining construction or heavy equipment or vehicles as a diesel mechanic.
• Valid driver's license and CDL preferred.
• Trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid medical card and/or ability to pass DOT physical exam.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with heavy equipment operation.
