About the position

The Resale Outside Sales Account Manager at Global Industrial is responsible for creating and implementing a national reseller sales strategy to achieve personal and company sales goals. This role involves regular communication with current and potential customers, overseeing sales activities within a designated territory, and ensuring excellent customer service. The position requires a strong focus on efficiency and adherence to company policies while maintaining accurate records of sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a national reseller sales strategy to meet personal and company sales goals.
  • Communicate regularly with current and potential customers, providing solutions as needed.
  • Oversee all sales activity in the assigned national sales territory.
  • Coordinate with other sales team members and leaders to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
  • Submit regular reports on sales activity into the company's CRM software and maintain updated records for all leads and customers.
  • Perform duties efficiently, reducing costs when possible, and maintain receipts for job-related expenses for accounting submission.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies to accurately represent the company to customers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in Industrial / MRO sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field
