About The Position
The Research Analyst 3 position at the University of Miami's UHealth system is a full-time role located in the Public Health Sciences Department on the UM Medical Campus in the Health District. This position is pivotal in preparing high-level data, conducting complex statistical analyses, and summarizing results for various research projects. The Research Analyst 3 will supervise evaluation projects and junior staff members, ensuring that all departmental activities comply with applicable guidelines and regulations. In this role, the analyst will analyze data and interpret research findings, identifying appropriate data sources to conduct and execute analyses. They will summarize and explain research findings and their implications, verifying the accuracy and internal consistency of reports, including those required by state and federal regulations. The position also involves ensuring proper technical documentation and preparation of tabular and written reports, as well as delivering oral presentations. The Research Analyst 3 will complete surveys and reports, discipline-specific accreditation, and admission and grant proposals. They will provide feedback and assistance in honing conclusions and recommendations into actionable findings, suggesting solutions to problems related to data management and statistical analysis. Adherence to University and unit-level policies and procedures is essential, as is the safeguarding of University assets.
