About the position

As a Research Analyst at Ipsos, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of strategic insights to our clients through the execution of various research projects. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the field of market research. You will be involved in a variety of studies that require sharp time management skills and a keen attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include executing and coordinating the fundamentals of advertising research projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while collaborating closely with your teammates. In this role, you will work on questionnaire design and analysis planning alongside senior team members, preparing client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and proposals. You will also be tasked with finding innovative ways to visualize data that enhances our storytelling capabilities. Understanding the business needs of clients and translating them into appropriate research designs will be a key part of your responsibilities. As you progress, you will gradually take on more independent projects and responsibilities, while also participating in the mentorship of new analysts and interns. Additionally, you will attend client briefing meetings and results presentations, which will help you build your presentation skills through dedicated training. As you develop your analytical skills, you will collaborate on the analysis and interpretation of survey results. This position also offers opportunities to participate in initiatives that support our service line, including growth, new product development, and employee training and engagement. Overall, this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data, storytelling, and making a meaningful impact in the field of advertising research.

Responsibilities

  • Executing and coordinating advertising research projects on time and on budget.
  • Working on questionnaire design and analysis planning with senior team members.
  • Preparing client deliverables such as reports, presentations, and proposals.

  • Understanding client business needs and translating them into appropriate research designs.
  • Supporting multiple projects and gradually building increased responsibility.
  • Participating in the mentorship of new Analysts and Interns.
  • Attending client briefing meetings and results presentations to build presentation skills.
  • Collaborating on the analysis and interpretation of survey results.
  • Participating in initiatives that support service line growth and employee training.

Requirements

  • BA or BS in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Some experience in market research, marketing, communications, or advertising is preferred.
  • A curious mindset and a genuine fascination for the field of advertising.
  • A passion for working with data and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work efficiently, and succeed in an innovative environment.
  • Interest in storytelling with the capacity to express narratives visually and verbally.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Ease and confidence with thinking on your feet.
  • Business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive within a team environment and contribute to a positive culture.
  • Some experience with questionnaire design and sampling approaches.
  • Proficiency with MS Office & Google Workplace (Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets, and Slides).
