Responsibilities

• Apply economic theory and analytic methods to National Security policy and resource management issues.
• Conduct research and analysis using quantitative, econometric, statistical, or computational methods.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and maintain frequent contact with government sponsors.
• Develop new models and generate new theories based on proven tools and data.
• Evaluate the accuracy of federal surveys and their impact on employment, inflation, and housing estimates.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Economics or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated research excellence and a strong interest in applied research.
• Superior skills in quantitative, econometric, statistical, or computational methods.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
