About the position

The Research Analyst at The Conference Board's Human Capital Center will provide essential statistical, research, graphic, and member support. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful completion of business research projects and deliverables, contributing to the organization's mission of delivering trusted insights for business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Research team by collecting data and information as requested.
  • Conduct literature reviews and implement data collection processes.
  • Manage databases and prepare materials for meetings and documents, including statistics, tables, charts, and presentations.
  • Assist in report generation, including finalization of documents and proofreading.
  • Implement online surveys, including questionnaire development and verification of sampling plans.
  • Perform statistical analysis of research data using statistical software like SPSS.
  • Collaborate with the Member Engagement team to manage and coordinate research-driven activities with member organizations.
  • Demonstrate initiative to foster collaboration and generate new ideas and processes.
  • Contribute to additional projects undertaken by the Research Director and participate in seminars and workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Management, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or social sciences preferred.
  • Strong academic performance and experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Mature and poised, capable of interacting with corporate executives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of a statistical software package, such as SPSS.
  • Experience with survey design and analysis.
