Responsibilities

• Independently conduct thorough research and analysis, translating findings into insightful research reports for clients.
• Collaborate with the broader research team to form original theses about crypto and the infrastructure sector, using these as the backbone for research reports.
• Provide leadership and direction for the infrastructure sector as a resident expert.
• Stay abreast of key developments in the sector and publish quick reports as needed.
• Engage on social media platforms and participate in industry events to represent the brand and build a personal brand.

Requirements

• Crypto-native with knowledge of multiple infrastructure protocols such as L2s, base layers, and interoperability protocols.
• 1-2 years of experience working in crypto or 3+ years as a research analyst.
• Strong communication skills to articulate analysis and insights clearly in plain English.
• Ability to synthesize a wide range of data and insights into a coherent framework for understanding sectors, trends, or protocols.
• Resourceful, curious, and able to think critically and independently.
• Relentless attention to detail.
• Strong data skills and familiarity with crypto metrics and data sources.
• Team player with a willingness to collaborate and prioritize Messari's mission.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience conducting traditional or crypto valuation and analysis.
