In the role of Research Analyst, you will play a crucial part in our project teams, collaborating closely with senior consultants and experts. Your responsibilities will encompass building economic, financial, and operational models using tools like Excel, R, Python, Stata, SAS, and VBA. You will also conduct qualitative research, including market analysis and literature reviews, and assist in preparing expert reports and presentations. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as you will work alongside colleagues at all levels to develop innovative solutions for our clients. In the International Arbitration practice, you will engage in cases involving breach of contract disputes, investment treaty arbitrations, and commercial disputes. Responsibilities

  • Build economic, financial, and operational models using Excel and programming languages such as R, Python, Stata, SAS, and VBA.
  • Conduct comprehensive qualitative research, including market analysis and literature reviews.
  • Assist in preparing expert reports and presentations for expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members at all levels to develop innovative solutions for clients.
  • Analyze economic impacts and calculate damages in breach of contract disputes.
  • Assess the economic value of investments in investment treaty arbitrations.
  • Evaluate financial transactions and market conditions in commercial disputes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, business, finance, mathematics) with strong academic performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and programming languages such as R, Python, Stata, SAS, and VBA.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and economic principles.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves
