About the position

The Research Analyst (Justice Grants Programs) at Arc Aspicio is a consulting analyst role focused on performing research and supporting data analytics and visualization projects for justice and law enforcement missions. The position aims to improve outcomes of grant programs through data collection, analysis, and visualization, contributing to mission-critical projects that positively impact government and homeland security clients. Associates in this role will have opportunities for leadership, skill development, and collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise on data collection and analysis in support of justice program reporting efforts
  • Develop dashboards in Tableau and other business intelligence and data analysis tools
  • Support development and implementation of methods to monitor, evaluate, forecast, and report grants progress to stakeholders
  • Conduct data analysis of a wide variety of sources and verify quality prior to incorporating it into presentations and dashboards
  • Apply business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
  • Support workstreams, lead and support deliverables, and promote continuous improvement
  • Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute towards our learning culture by demonstrating interest in supervising and supporting the growth of others

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a blend of research and data analysis and visualization research into criminal justice that supports tracking performance against grant outcomes
  • Experience with data analysis and software projects such as Tableau and Excel
  • Excellent skills in creating presentations and visualizations to share insights into data
  • Strong communications and presentations skills and ability to present insights to clients
  • Enthusiasm to collaborate with others and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Excellent work ethic in a dynamic, complex, and challenging environment and self-motivated with the ability to take on more responsibility quickly
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • Ability to focus and pay attention to detail while remaining focused on a strategic, big picture objective
  • U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)
  • Bachelor's degree
