About the position

As a Research Analyst in Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries, you will provide macro and market insights to internal and external stakeholders of Commercial Banking. This role involves analyzing macroeconomic data and capital markets trends, and effectively communicating these insights through written summaries, presentations, and research notes. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze macroeconomic data and capital markets trends
• Write short summaries of economics and market developments
• Create presentations that summarize research views
• Compose research notes and industry reports

Requirements

• 6+ years of financial industry experience
• Previous experience in economics, capital markets, strategy, investment banking, and/or equity/credit research
• Firm grasp of key macroeconomic concepts: interest rates, GDP, unemployment, inflation, supply chains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills including charts and formatting
• Proficient in Word
