About the position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Research Analyst at the Nevada Institute for Children's Research & Policy in the School of Public Health. This position will coordinate and conduct research activities, assist with project budgets, work collaboratively with project partners to address existing project requirements, and work with NICRP staff to develop ideas for related grants and projects. This position will take a leadership role on project tasks, assist with grant writing, and assist with the completion of final reports and publication manuscripts.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience.
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to independently conduct social science and/or evaluation research.
  • Knowledge of research methods, data analysis, human subjects protections, and database development.
  • Demonstrated experience with qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Ability to write results of research analyses.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good computer skills in word processing and data management, specifically with SPSS software.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • One to three years of supervisory experience.
