About the position
The Research Analyst at Cypris will be responsible for developing insightful and thorough research reports to support global innovation and R&D teams. This role involves conducting custom consultative research on various industries, managing project lifecycles, and contributing to the enhancement of Cypris Insights. The analyst will utilize the Cypris platform and other data sources to provide valuable insights that influence strategic initiatives for leading innovators.
Responsibilities
- Conduct custom consultative research on cutting-edge topics influencing long-term strategic initiatives for R&D teams.
- Author custom research reports using data from a proprietary database of over 500 million research papers, patents, and market news.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from gathering initial requirements to delivering compelling presentations.
- Contribute to the development of the Cypris Insights offering by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a consultant, research analyst, or business analyst.
- Excellent writing skills for long-form market research reports using secondary research across various industries.
- Experience with direct client interactions and a professional, customer-facing approach.
- Strong core consulting skills, including project management, deck writing, and data analysis.
- Analytical capabilities to synthesize content into sound recommendations.
- Familiarity with business intelligence/data analysis tools or methods (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python, R) is a plus.
