About the position

TechnoMile is seeking a Research Analyst to join our GovSearch team, where you will play a crucial role in conducting product research for our SaaS offerings. In this position, you will be responsible for researching and investigating key decision-makers and policymakers across various levels of government in the United States, including Federal, State, Municipal, and County governments, as well as prominent Federal vendors that engage with the US government. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working from an existing database to verify essential contact information, including names, titles, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of individuals in holding positions. You will also be tasked with interpreting biographical information, analyzing photo data, and utilizing social media to understand the missions and key programs of various government entities. This will require you to identify additional relevant contacts, programs, and project information related to the agencies and the individuals working within them. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with teams both in India and at our headquarters in the US. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Journalism, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in a research position or a similar role. Attention to detail and meticulousness are essential traits for success in this role. You must have accurate typing skills and the ability to quickly read and comprehend news articles and other documents published by government agencies, enhancing data points through thorough research. Familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is desirable, and a genuine interest in the US Government is crucial for this position.
